Install the Clickalong widget

Clickalong runs on your site through one script tag. You can copy it, with your workspace key filled in, from Install in the dashboard.

Plain HTML or server-rendered pages

Paste the tag just before the closing </body> tag of your shared layout, so every customer-facing page gets it:

The public key is safe to commit. It only identifies your workspace.

React and other bundled apps

Install the SDK with npm install @clickalong/sdk and call Clickalong.init({ key: "YOUR_PUBLIC_KEY" }) once on the client, at the app root. It is safe under React Strict Mode. Vue, Svelte and Angular apps call the same init once at the client entry point.

Check that it works

Open a page on your site. The chat button appears in the bottom-right corner. The Install page also shows when the widget last loaded and on which site.

If it does not appear

• Content-Security-Policy: if your site sends a strict CSP, allow https://clickalong.ai in script-src and connect-src.
• Allowed domains: if you filled in Allowed domains under Settings → General, the site you are testing must be on that list.
• Load the widget only from https://clickalong.ai/widget.js. Copying or proxying the file stops updates from reaching you.
